Sometimes you feel that love has defeated you or love has cheated you. That will remain true until you allow yourself to move on.
To enable yourself to move on you must focus on three things.
Forgiveness, Gratitude and New Love.
Forgiveness: After a love has failed your only way to begin your journey to new love is to practice forgiveness. Firstly you must forgive the person or people who you believe have wronged you. Then you must look to yourself, what did you do that you are blaming yourself for? Are you accusing yourself of making stupid decisions or cowardice? Any situation that comes up in your mind regularly which causes you mental pain or anguish is an experience you need to apply forgiveness to. Forgive yourself for these things and ready yourself for the next stage.
Gratitude: Once you have forgiven yourself and others you will then be in a place where you can practice gratitude. It is your duty to look at the areas where you forgave and see what lessons you have learned. You can then be look to what you are grateful for in that situation. For example, if you were dominated by a previous partner you may choose to apply gratitude to the situation for learning how to recognise a dominating person and thus being able to avoid a similar situation. It is important to understand that forgiveness and gratitude never condone another’s actions.
Once you have applied forgiveness and gratitude you are ready to move on.
New Love: You can now focus on finding new love. Create rituals that mean you look for new love every day, make an alter, perform love spells and visualise meeting your love. Doing all these things and focussing on performing loving actions in every aspect of you life will create the space of new love to come into you life and nurture you.
